My IPod Touch commute

For a brief period, back when touch screens were a novelty, around 2012, I did tens of these.
Fingerpainting was a new thing. Jorge Colombo was getting eyeballs on his work for New Yorker, my dream gig. His work inspired me to do do this on my iPod Touch. I gave it a try during my daily commute. For a period, I fingerpainted these characters, inspired by the daily travelers on public transports in Lisbon. I used to post them together with a small story. Most stories and the originals were lost together with my iPod on a subway trip.
At the time, this was a niche use for touch screens and there was a very active community on Flickr around it. Thanks to that, some of these were featured in a Fingerpainting Art Show in San Francisco, California.
